ISM Automated Design Application Project Management Plan (PMP)

Collaborated with ISM staff in developing a proposed PMP addressing the requirements for design and development for an automated application for ISM staff. The goal of this proposal was to analyze the current workflow and identify a solution for reducing design and development and meeting FLETA requirements.

MANAGEMENT POLICY AND PRINCIPLES (MPP) – CLASSIFIED REGULATIONS

Conducted content analysis with a focus on designing exercises using the Computerized Maintenance and Materials Systems (CMMS) database. Improved student retention; reduced training time at Post.

SECURITY ENGINEERING OFFICER (SEO)

Provided new SEOs a familiarization of physical countermeasures they may encounter at State facilities domestic and abroad. Additional information included a history of physical countermeasures and how they evolved over time. Discussed how overseas threat levels determine countermeasures and identified FAM/FAH requirements.

SUICIDE ATTACK U.S. EMBASSY – SANN ~ A

Developed production video script for Knowledge from the Field 10.5.2010 DVD. Used AAR data and CCTV footage constructing the attack events. Developed graphic attack events timeline.

MINE RESISTENT AMBUSH PROTECTED VEHICLE (MRAP)

Designed to meet the needs of DS protective details moving US AID and other FSI personnel in high threat areas in Iraq. Course was designed for familiarization, operations, and maintenance. Completed 40-hour driving course for the Caiman Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicle (MRAP) Fort Knox.

IRAQ FIELD IMMERSION TRAINING (IFIT)

IFIT was an intensive two-day course focused on DS security protocol and FSI political and cultural challenges in IRAQ using intensive role-play scenarios. Students were exposed to Diplomatic Security protocols involving their safety at venues.

VEHICLE SEARCH PROCEDURES (VS)

Designed, scripted, storyboarded an interactive DVD-R program designed to meet the requirements of Embassy local guard forces to conduct proper vehicle searches. Course delivered to 270 U.S. Embassies.

SECURITY PLANNING SUPPORT STAFF (SPSS)

Designed and developed curriculum for a 40-hour Instructor led Training course (ILT) for Locally Employed Foreign Nationals at U.S. Embassies.

FOREIGN AFFAIRS COUNTER TERRORISM (FACT)

Designed course for State Department and Foreign Services personnel (FSI) assigned to overseas Posts. Conducted content analysis (Lesson plans, PowerPoints, practical exercises and ancillary materials). Worked with SharePoint administrator to reorganize FACT workspace, designed, and directed FACT Course Review Conference (CRC) to meet FLETA requirements. Developed CRC Recommendations Report.

HIGH THREAT TACTICAL OPERATIONS (HTOC)

Specialized hard skills 10-week refresher course for DS agents involved in protective security deploying to high threat environments. Currently updating the former HTOC to a revised 12-week course; Advanced Tactics, Leadership, and Skills (ATLaS).

BODYGUARD PROTECTIVE SECURITY OPERATIONS (BGPSO)

U.S. Department of State Overseas Protective Operations Branch requested an executive protection course for locally employed staff (LES). Conducted Course Review Conference (CRC), to determine course content. Designed needs assessment for RSOs worldwide via SharePoint to elicit opinions regarding BGPSO requirements. Designed 40-hour course based on RSO feedback.

POST BLAST INVESTIGATIONS TRAINING (PBIT)

Designed pilot course for DS Explosives Counter Measures Unit (ECU) The course contains instructor-led presentations, demonstrations, direct practical exercises, formal assessment (test using Turning Point), and a final PBIT training exercise replicating overseas operations in non-permissive environments; common for DS Agents. Participants for the finalized course will be DS Agents enrolled in the Basic Regional Security Officer (BRSO) course and other DS Agents seeking post-blast investigative training.

HVAC Apprentice Training Curriculum

Developed curriculum materials for HVAC sheet metal apprentice training in conjunction with the International Training Institute (iTi.) this project involved the research and writing of student manuals, instructor guides, and production storyboards for DVD The 12 modules are supplemented with instructor led materials, schematics, drawings, graphics, animations and video segments covering various topics related to the HVAC. Modules included: The Detailer’s Job, Field Measurements and Computers, Project Correspondence, Job Documents, Coordination (interactive video) and three AutoCAD® modules.

Course included student manuals, instructor guides and DVD providing a blend of media.
