About me:
I am a qualified Surgical Oncologist from India. In India, Surgical Oncology is a separate specialty which is treated as a super specialty similar to Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery etc. This remains the most sought-after specialty among the general surgery trainees, as the seats available for training are limited. We receive special additional three-year training after completion of General Surgery to qualify as surgical oncologist. Spectrum of this specialty includes all Head and neck surgeries, GI surgeries,Thoracic surgery, Breast surgery, Laparoscopic complex surgery, Ortho oncology, Urooncology.
I was fortunate enough to have pursued my training at the most sought after premier institute in this country like Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.
I worked in most of the reputed cancer institute and hospitals of India at Rajiv Gandhi cancer Institute Delhi, IMS, BHU,Varanasi, TMH, Mumbai, Bhagwaan Mahaveer cancer Hospital, Jaipur, Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai.
I gained fellowships at Tata Memorial Hospital from 2014 to 2017, 3 years in Gastrointenstinal, thoracic, Head and neck oncology trainee .TMH is the largest cancer centre and referral Hospital in India and is considered one of the most premier institutes in this country.
After completion of my training I joined Mch surgical oncology course and received rigorous training in the field from (2017 -2020) at SAIMS Hospital, Indore.
I have been independently managing routine elective and emergency surgeries since 2010 at all of these institutes and has performed more than 1000 surgeries till date.
I has won many prestigious awards and accolades for work in cancer research with more than 10 research papers published in national and international indexed journals
I have multiple fellowships along with MCh surgical oncology and membership of various surgical oncology bodies.
