MEP Engineer
Monitor drawing/material/work conformances with provisions as per specification/DEWA/Civil Defense and DM regulations.
Check the activities on site and provide the necessary reminders to the Project Director, Construction Manager and the planning Engineer for any immediate action.
Check and advice on MEP co-ordination drawings to ensure that all services are coordinated with each other and the building structure is complying with the contract requirements.
Ensure all builders works drawings are comprehensive and discussed with the various engineers for the best implementation and installation of services in coordination with other parties and main contractor.
Provide reminders, in advance, to the Project Director for any anticipated conflict that may happen in the future with respect to the simultaneous activities of all MEP trades and main contractors.
Follow up the status of material and shop drawings and keep all parties informed of the status and follow up the implementation of the Clients comments in timely manner.
Distribute detailed information, documents and regulations as applicable to all concerned parties and ensure their acknowledgement and adherence to its con tents.
Coordinate with main contractors, sub-contractors. MEP coordinator. Engineers and Construction Manager to obtain clearance before starting the work to ensure smooth and efficient execution of work.
Provide Technical support and solve all Site technical issues to ensure completion of Projects within the stipulated time.
At project close out co-ordinate the production of as built drawings to ensure they are delivered as per the contract requirements in terms of quality and time.
Direct and lead MEP subcontractors to achieve the project milestone dates on the design, installation and testing commissioning works.
Direct and lead in-house MEP team for the installation the power lighting Water Supply Drainage as a mobilization plan.
Mechanical Engineer (Site Engineering, supervision and Management)
Responsible for the review, recommendation and approval of all mechanical like HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing and drainage, LPG material submittals, shop drawings, method statements and its implementations.
Carrying-out regular site inspection for all mechanical permanent works for specification and drawing compliance.
To coordinate with other disciplines as required on day-to-day basis or as set out by the project requirements.
Maintains awareness of the project mechanical specification, drawings and design criteria.
Responsible for the integrity of workmanship for HVAC, Mechanical drainage system, Pumping stations, Water supply, Escalators/Elevators, Fire protection system and Irrigation system.
Ensuring that works are done as per drawings and specifications and follow up all related documentation as per the project requirements.
Assist the project manager in liaison with client and the contractor regarding mechanical issues.
Maintaining a good understanding of the project priorities and programs.
Evaluate, install, operate and maintain mechanical products, equipments, systems or processes in accordance with engineering principles and in strict compliance with safety guidelines and procedures.
Review the mechanical progress of the works, identify constraints and recommend corrective measures.
Maintaining the records of inspection requests and other work-related documents at the site at all times.
Attending the testing and commissioning of the works and assures that all data results are recorded.
Establish production or quality control standards as well as prepare technical status reports.
