I am indeed excited for a chance to value equities as I always have had fascination for it. I certainly believe that I would be a perfect and a complete candidate for an entry level job as an equity research analyst because I have acquired the training, skills and the urge to provide a strong fundamental analysis for the clients. I graduated from university of Greenwich, London, UK with a masters in finance and investments through which I made course works which signifies on valuing companies using various approaches such as ratios and DCF. Apart from course works, a dissertation was also made in which I conducted an event study to observe abnormal returns on the announcements of stock splits. Additionally, I have completed courses such as Equity research analyst, series – XV (NISM), Financial modeling (IMS proschool) on a self interest basis to enhance my precision. Despite not having relevant experience, through the financial modeling course I acquired practical knowledge on using excel to project the estimates of the income statement, Balance sheet and cash flow statement which in turn resulted in deriving the intrinsic value of the firm through DCF and relative valuations. With the knowledge gained, I have modeled many companies to find the undervalued stock on self motivated basis. The work may be shared on demand.

Last but not least, by being a CFA level II candidate (CFA level I completed in Dec 2018 & registered for level II to be taken on June 2020. However, the exams have been postponed to Dec 2020 due to COVID19) I can offer unparalleled thinking and performance under pressure. • Conducted an EVENT STUDY using the market model for accessing the abnormal returns post the announcement of stock splits for around 43 companies listed in NYSE and NASDAQ. The Study was conducted for both shorter (-10,0,10) and longer (-10,0,60) window period. The results were in accordance with previous researches and concluded that the Anomalies persisted on the announcement date and the day after, in turn proving that markets were not highly efficient in absorbing the information (NOT SEMI FORM EFFICIENT) During the period of 1980’s and early 1990’s
