Duties & Responsibilities

● Assist in delivering swimming lessons to any of individual whom may have a desire in swimming.

● Covering lifeguards when they are leaving at their respective stations

● Assist in making of duty roster to staffs.

● Ensure beyond services are given to guest wherever they e.g at beach area, swimming pool

● Enforce rules in order to anticipate to injuries

● Maintain concentrated observation of the duty area and its users in order to anticipate problems and to identify an emergency quickly

● Inspecting the use of the pool and other equipments such as floaters, swimming goggles, water slides and even the diving board as well the stuffs and arranging duty roster

● Oversea rescues and initiate other emergency action as necessary

● Adharing to respective areas during leaving e.g covering lifeguards during breaks.

● Flexible to duty roster suitable for each and everyone in department

● Teamworking with staffs e g lifeguards, attendants and everyone

● Ensuring all of lifeguards atleast twice in a month they are having training to keep them fit and refreshing whatever is new

● Develop and maintain a friendly relationship with members of the using facility and within staffs

● Evaluates equipment function for the purpose of maintaining facilities and /or complying with mandated health requirements

● Monitoring readings report given by lifeguards including proper chemical and PH rate for the purpose of complying with mandated safety and health requirements

● Inspecting in maintaining swimming pool equipment (e.g. backwashing filters, pump equipments, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring equipment is in proper working condition

● Check records for the purpose of providing an up-to-date reference trail and /or complying with mandated requirements

● Monitors inventory levels of equipment in department and maintenance supplies for the purpose of ensuring the availability of supplies as needed

● Ensuring minor repairs to swimming pool equipment and facilities for the purpose of maintaining facilities and equipment in safe operating condition.

● Assists with setup and /or movement of equipment (e.g. starting blocks, benches, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring availability of special events, etc.

● Prepares purchase orders for the purpose of securing needed supplies
