Duties & Responsibilities

1- Providing support to the project by maintaining a visible presence at the field.

2- Performing site visits to the entire project at least once per shift to the coordinate with the project manager.

3-Regularly review and be familiar with all applicable legislation and applicable standards to ensure compliance & inform the project management team and supervision of any new or conflictive legislative matters that could impact the project.

4-Develop a site safety management plan (SMP) for the project to ensure a safe work environment for all company employees, contractors, visitors and community.

5-Regularly audit the (SMP) for compliance and update to ensure the alignment with project scope and conditions.

6-Organize and schedule required safety personnel & item, and first aid coverage.

7-Ensure that all incident are properly and immediately reported.

8-Take remedial action after issuing a proper incident/accident report (when applicable), and communicate the full scope of the event for higher management, and to all Employees, for safety vigilance awareness and Administration purposes.

9-Review safety obligations of the clients and ensure they are carried out as per the terms of the agreement, and communicated to the project manager, supervisors, foremen and safety advisors.

10-Ensure proper orientation on premises and safety precautions awareness are carried out.
