PROJECTS:

ME PHASE TWO project on ‘CORROSION BEHAVIOUR OF FRICTION STIR WELDED AA6082, AA2014 AND AA7075 SIMILAR AND DISSIMILAR JOINTS’.

Similar and dissimilar joint aluminum alloy samples was investigated by immersion tests in sodium chloride (NaCl) and nitric acid (HNO3) solution. The process parameters are feed rate 80mm/min, tool rotation speed 900rpm, Tilt angle 2o. Similar and dissimilar joint of 100 100 6mm plate were welded with conical tapered tool pin profile. Corrosion studies for immersion test by weight loss method and electrochemical method.

ME PHASE ONE project on ‘EFFECT OF PROCESS PARAMETER ON FRICTION STIR WELDED AA6082, AA2014 AND AA7075 SIMILAR AND DISSIMILAR JOINTS’.

Similar and Dissimilar joint is made with AA6082, AA2014 and AA7075 using friction stir welding process. Comparing the mechanical properties of different joint made by various welding parameters such as welding speed, tool rotational speed and tilt angle. Tensile and micro hardness test are conduct to analyze the mechanical behavior. Microstructure, macrostructure and SEM are conduct to examine metallurgical changes.

BE project on ‘SPRING ROLLING MACHINE’.

The project mainly focus on producing steel wire spring by semi automatically.(Small scale industries)

Diploma project on ‘HEATING & COOLING TABLE FAN’.

The project mainly focus on both climates by using copper coil on the fan. INPLANT TRAINING:
