Job Profile : Erection Testing & Commissioning of all Electrical equipment associated with 3 no’s of 5MW Substations having 11/3.3KV & 11/0.45KV feeders and 5MW, 11KV Diesel Generator.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performing the Evaluation, execution & testing and commissioning of Replacement of Old Substation project at West Kuwait (GC 16, GC 17 and APS F-23 ), FAT, SAT etc...
Coordinate with Vendor manufacture for Technical Specifications for HT & LT Switchgears, Power & Distribution Transformers, HT & LT Motors, Drives, Cables, Bus ducts, UPS, Battery & Battery Charger, etc.
Review of vendor drawings for HT & LT Switchgears, Transformers, Motors, Drives, etc
Coordinate with vendor manufacture /consultant for the preparation of Earthing, Lighting, Lightning Protection & Cable Tray Layouts.
Good Exposure in selecting Electrical Equipment suitable for Hazardous Area
Trouble shoots plant electrical problems; suggest feasible short and long-term solution.
Develop full commissioning and startup plans for new equipment as necessary.
Primary Current Injection test for Protection and Measuring Current Transformers, Secondary Current Injection Test for Protection Relays, Reliability and Stability Testing, Static Relay Setting, Testing & Commissioning as per Relay Coordination Calculations.
11KV Cable HIPOT test, Meggering, Continuity test, 11KV Bus bar HIPOT, 11KV Feeders Commissioning, Phase Sequence test using Hot Stick, Paralleling of Two 11KV Incomers.
Checking and Testing the Interlocking Systems between Up Stream and Down Stream Breakers and Earthing Interlock Systems for Bus bar and Transformer, Motor Feeders for 11KV, 3.3 KV, 440V system Voltage.
Safety auditing and Inspection
