Stock Team Leader, Current (Maersk Line) November 2018

Identify all spares on board vessel and ensure all technical details are mentioned along with the spare drawing number, part number or machinery in PMS module and ensure correct procurement in future.

Plan the overall Stock Module implementation on board the take over and yard delivery vessels and lead a team with an assistant or a trainee. Plan, assign and check all the jobs for them to meet the expected deadlines by use of Ship manager and standard Layout plans.

Ensure that the stowage arrangements within each of the ship’s Store Spaces and the location of all Stock Item are in accordance with the set of Approved Ship-Class Standard Store Plans which is planned with ships management assistance and hence implemented.

Provide both the Ship's Management on board and the Office with regular weekly updates regarding progress of the Stock Module implementation on board the vessel for consumables as well as ship specific spares.

Familiarize the Ship's Officers with the revised Store Spaces and stowage, along with the guidance to continue sustainable operation of the ship.

Provide training to all the officers on board the taken over ship for Ship Manager (Tool used for Procurement, QHSE & Planned maintenance). Hand over entire stock module to ships management for further operation as per company standards.

Give inputs to office to improvise Ship manager for better user interface. Procurement Engineer (Marine Power Limited, UAE) April 2018-October 2018

Development of spares for Wartsila engines into the database and maintaining the same. Ensuring regular procurement of spares needed for planned and unplanned maintenance preventing shortfall below limits ensured by the managing director by using excel and software to procure the same.

Providing quotations to various traders and shipping companies for the planned and unplanned maintenance spares required.

Under the guidance of the managing director procure spares from OEM manufacturers and traders across the world.

Finding alternate for the spare at a low cost from local as well as international Traders.
