Key Responsibilities / Accomplishments:

Lead team of 300+ engineers, technicians, and designers, from US, UK and India covering all disciplines to support NPI from proposal thru aircraft certification, R&T and sustaining engineering for functional support and aftermarket programs. Recruited back to the business to improve Engineering department engagement, execution, efficiency and accountability.

Reorganized Engineering department and implemented new KPI metrics / governance process to drastically improve performance, employee engagement, attrition rate, and project execution while navigating thru unprecedented period of NPI activity.

Developed / recognized for new Career Development process which was standardized across Meggitt.

Achieved 22% cost savings over investment study targets on initial my initial NPI launch as CRJ-700 Project Manager

Responsible for upgrading / maintaining in house design/processing specifications, conducting field trouble shooting and maintenance training courses at airlines facilities all over the world.

Developed / improved wheel & brake products across many aircraft platforms including first commercial carbon brake application (F100) which led to development of improved design standards

Became in-house expert of fastening systems, as part of Master’s thesis. Implemented new ultrasonic preload measurement methods for in-service wheels tie-bolts. Used this new technology for maintenance auditing, training and set-up of automated torqueing machines.

As a Project Engineer, I was involved in all facets of design, analysis, manufacturing, testing and qualification to support aircraft certification.
