Joined as an TRANEE –and now working as an ENGINEER Operations of IMC Terminal Kandla, having capacity of 1, 15,000 KL

Chief Tasks Handling:

Planning for space availability, Shipment activities, Manpower, Overtime and maintenance etc.

Manage all tank farm activities, including Shipments, tanker loading/unloading, bulk tanker planning, PLT, ITT, Tank and pipeline cleaning, chilling and heating of product, Tank bottoming, blending of products, Air blowing, pigging, ETP operation etc.

Man-Power management

To look after fire and safety activities in the terminal and jetty.

Proper and effective Communication with stake holders, employees and other personnel

Vessel boarding for Import and Export of Class A, B, C and non classified cargos.

Comply with all the required documentation of operational checklists and reports for Operations Activities

Maintaining product quality at highest level while delivering to customers.

Monitor bulk stocks of tanks.

To enhance improvement in operations activity, propose new procedures to maintain quality and safety of product and operating staff.

Providing fire safety, operation and maintenance related onsite and offsite training to the downstream staff and contract persons.

Complying with the system of ''Safe Work Permit” & ensuring its implementation..

Coordinate and participate in the investigation of accidents & near misses and thereby suggesting corrective measures for reoccurrence.

Conducting emergency response exercises and drills at regular intervals to ensure the highest level of preparation in case of any emergency and thereby maintaining records providing recommendations for subsequent improvements.

Supervises the regular inspection of firefighting facilities, safety and emergency response equipment.

Dealing with statutory authorities, vessel and loading/unloading related documentation.
