I have around 12+ years of experience in Operation and Technical Service in Manali Petrochemicals Ltd., Chennai. Storage operation and technical knowledge about utilities
(cooling tower, chilled water system, air and nitrogen service, boiler (fire and water tube) and DM plant with ETP)
I am currently working as operation manager role, previously I have been worked as an operation engineer in DCS panel and shift in charge roles and process engineering role in engineering technical service department.

1. POLYOL plant:
Worked as a process coordinator in the Scale up project and pilot plant facility setup for product enhancement and R&D development. Training has been taken at M/s.OTTOBOCK, Germany about system polyol plant and production. Activities Involved:

2. Propylene Glycol plant modification:

3. Commissioning of Propylene Oxide plant with utilities in MPL-Plant 2:
Involved in successful Commissioning of New Propylene Oxide Plant in MPL Plant 2.
Cooling tower data preparation and commissioning. Performance studies.
Overall plant heat duty checked for chilled water loop and steam loop.
Coordinated with Instrumentation Department and Yokogawa Model Centum DCS systems, Bangalore for reviewing the ESD trip logics.
Coordinated with Maintenance, Safety Department for Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities.
4. Green field project study:
100 KTPA Propylene oxide plant feasibility study with M/s.SAIPEM pvt ltd, Chennai and M/s.BEFAR plant, China.
Overall plant comparison of MPL technology and BEFAR technology of Propylene oxide plant.
Propylene Glycol plant capacity enhancement study with existing plants energy, mass balance and quality considerations.
5. Production Responsibility:
Operation involved manufacturing of Propylene Oxide (50 TPD) from Propylene and Chlorine by Propylene chlorohydrin Process.
Monitoring & operating of exothermic reaction (130oC) of semi batch reactors for POLYOL production.
Multi effect evaporator and followed by vacuum distillation unit for Propylene Glycol Production.
Captive power generation by steam Turbines (1Nos, 4.2MW) Operating on High Pressure Steam boiler (31 Bar).
Experience of handling DCS from YOKOGAWA for boiler, utilities and main plants.
Changes & trouble shooting the process related problems during shift. I have handled safe operation of process equipment’s as follows: Packed bed & Vacuum distillations column, thermosyphning & kettle type reboiler. Centrifugal pump, Reciprocating pump, Heat transfer equipment’s viz. Reboilers, heat exchanger and Utility Operations.
