CAREER OBJECTIVE:

A Shipping professional with an MBA in Shipping and logistics Management with around 9 years of experience in Shipping Industry, seeking to leverage my technical and professional expertise to grow in a new role at your organization.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

British Petroleum Hub Coordinator at Gulf Agency Company, Dubai since July 2014.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Handling the operational / financial aspects of British Petroleum vessels (Group Owned, Time Chartered & Voyage Chartered) calling at Ports in Middle East, Africa and Indian Subcontinent

Assisting BP Shipping as and when required in fixing shipment, Chartering vessels and port related activities.

Customized to work on Group IT software GAC Ship for vessel related operational activities & financial matters.

Ensuring the cordial relationship with BP ship operators / BP demurrage negotiators and at times with BP regional Port Agency Team via mails, calls and online discussions.

Appointing port agents / surveyors, sending updated load / discharge orders to the agents on behalf of BP Shipping.

Seeking approval of Charterers related costs from the respective BPOI (British Petroleum Oil Trading) & BP IST (British Petroleum IST Trading) demurrage negotiators basis the cargo grade.

Approving funds for BP Shipping Group Owned and Time Chartered vessels.

Coordinating with Owners & BP demurrage team for settlement of Charterers costs via port agents.

Attending Quarterly review conducted by BP Shipping for improvement in the various areas of work.

Liaising with port agents to ensure the compliance of BP Shipping requirements and regular operational updates.

Liaising with vessel Master for port agent’s feedback upon completion of vessel operation / sailing.

Liaising with GACship to ensure that updated data is reflected where discrepancies have been noted.

KPI’s to be in line with BP Shipping requirements.

BP SHIPPING AUDIT WORK:

Audited BP Shipping approved port agents in Egypt (Inchcape Shipping Egypt, Gulf Agency Company Egypt and Albaharia Shipping Egypt) in 2016.

Assistant Manager at Satguru Cargo and Air Freight L.L.C. Dubai from July 2013 to June 2014.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Generating and managing import / export business for Africa & Middle East sector.

Looking after warehousing & cross stuffing activities for Organization inside JAFZA.

Coordinating with Vessel Master whenever vessel comes for cargo call / husbandry matters at any port of Middle East.

Opening Vessel / Voyage account on Afsys.

Actively involved in financial matters like making PDA & follow up for funds with clients
