WORKING EXPERIENCE
Estimator/Project Manager, Encore, Global Production Group, Las Vegas, NV Working with EOS Software to prepare costings for client proposals. Proposals included corporate meetings and events. These costs included design, fabrication, labor, lighting, sound, electrical services, video, rigging, scenic equipment, and audience feedback. With the COVID-19 lockdown, I was furloughed. I have been taking online classes for AutoCAD and Excel to update my skill set to be ready for when the call back takes place. I loved working for Encore as it was truly a professional organization. I hope to return soon.
January 2020 to April 2020 on Furlough due to COVID-19 Site Technician/Electrician, Fly-In Crew, Cavalia Odysseo, Montreal, Qc Canada. As part of the Logistics Department participating in the set-up and removal of the world’s largest touring tent. Responsibilities include preparation of electrical site plans for permits, set-up and removal of the illustrated electrical systems of 480/277Volt, 120/208 Volt 3 phase, 2 to 2.5 Megawatt 480 Volts services. These systems power all major elements from lighting, sound, and rigging systems for the performances. Other operational systems included: HVAC system, merchandise & concession sales, kitchens, stables and offices. This is accomplished using approximately 28,000 to 32,000 feet of large gauge [4/0 feeder] cables. Other equipment included: transformers, cable and distribution systems that incorporated using both commercial switch panels and custom portable distribution equipment. Working with local power utilities and licensed contractors for connection into local power grid and/or the use of generators when necessary. Jump window from city to city, typically 18 days. Performances in Canada, USA and Mexico. 34 Cities. Total Production: 100 trucks. October 2011 to October 2017

Implement Lighting Plots for various productions of Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, “The Greatest Show On Earth!” Budget, design and build various electrical and data distribution systems for lighting, sound, rigging/hoist control, and other operational electrical systems. Lighting systems size ranged in size from 350Kw 1000Kw systems and included conventional and automated fixtures with color scrollers of various types. Crew sizes ranged from 10 to 25 members of various nationalities including Mexican, Hungarian, Russian, Mongolian, and Chinese. Called follow spot cues for 8 to 16 follow spots. Acted as liaison between show, venue and various labor unions, labor contractors, and other stakeholders within the scope of electrical and lighting concerns for each engagement.
