Teaching Experience
Experienced middle school science teacher is seeking a middle school science position or an environment working with kids.. I feel passionate about building relationships with my students through equity driven classroom engagement. Specializing in diverse and often underserved communities, I have garnered administrative support in restructuring lagging middle school science curriculum and instruction. Because of this, I was able to ensure that individual student outcomes aligned with Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). To that end, I created a teacher awareness program in which I demonstrated the opportunities and potential in teaching science across disciplines. As an educator I would welcome the opportunity to continue to support the individual strengths and needs of the whole child, offering instruction in a welcoming, nurturing, and safe environment.
