ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY
Engineering:
● Study of Architectural /Structural /ID/RCP/ MEP Design drawing.
● Studying IFC drawing in-relating with tender/design drawing, identifying changes from tender/design drawing, indicating the addition and deletion to QS, initiating variations.
● Review of Contract scope of work and Project Specification.
● Design reviews / Interacting with consultants for technical clarification and preparing RFI’s
● Preparing Shop Drawing complying with Project specification, Local Electricity authority regulation, Civil defense regulation, etc.
● Reviewing & ensuring the design load schedule and SLD as per the project requirement and Preparing Voltage drop calculation to ensure Voltage drop is within the range.
● Co-ordinate with Local Electricity authority for any technical clarification, LV drawing submission, LV installation Inspection and obtaining approval.
● Providing the technical assistance / support to the site engineers / draftsmen’s to resolving the technical issues and coordination issue with other services before, during the construction.
● Co-ordinate with QA/QA Engineers for preparing the method statements / Testing & Commissioning procedures / test plans for electrical installations and assistance.
● Preparation of Bill of Quantities.
● Verifying redline drawing and preparation of As Built Drawings.
● Providing document to procurement such as project specifications, BOQ, Drawing for Floating enquiries.
● Submitting Material submittal with sample and all technical literature to consultant
● Ordering the material and scheduling the delivery as per project planning.
● Streamline the system and Procedures for effective inventory control to ensure availability of materials to meet the targets.
● Interacting with Material coordinator to prepare procurement plan as per project requirement.
Construction / Project Management:
● Site representative on all matters related to Electrical & ELV works, reporting to project manager / project head.
● Coordination with Clients / Contractor / Consultant.
● Aiding QA/QC in Closing of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) & Site Observation report (SOR) on works that deviates standards and design specifications.
● Interacting and Coordinate with site execution team for issuing of materials /drawings as per priority in order to achieve planned and targeted progress
● Providing Technical back up to the project team.
● Submission of all the required documents for project close out such as built drawings, O&M manuals and test reports etc.
● Man power planning besides developing and monitoring the performances.
● Maintaining track of day to day activities and productivity.
● Preparation of Daily, Weekly and Monty progress reports.
● Ensuring that all electrical works in the project are in accordance with the specifications, local regulation and project requirements.
● Maintain highest level of customer satisfaction by continuously meeting commitments for Engineering & Company quality standards and guidelines.
● Closing of snag, arranging Operation & Maintenance manual and training program for end user /Client.
● Testing & Commissioning of System.
