Talent Acquistion
•Engineered a systematic approach to talent acquisition. Strengthened our talent pipeline and made our sourcing and screening processes more efficient.
•Recruited talents for multiple senior and technical positions, helping the Company save costs from hiring outsourced agencies.
•Managed website job ads and worked closely with the Marketing department on social media recruitment campaigns.
Internship Program
•Worked towards improving internship recruitment process and graduate program experience.
Onboarding
•Project managed the revamping of the onboarding process. The induction programme has become more engaging and new hires go through a smooth onboarding process right from the initial screening stage up until their annual performance review. Introduced the integration of employee advocacy with our orientation program, and launched the onboarding matrix.
Compensation & Benefits
•Structured an effective payroll process. Payroll has become centralised, transferring sole accountability from Finance to HR. Reduced normal processing time from 7 days to 2.5 days.
•Set up an efficient and organised attendance management system.
•Executed bi-annual air ticket cost study to ensure that our budgeted flight allowance remain competitive and up to date.
•Screened and processed various employee requests in regards to C&B such as salary advance requests, etc.
•Assisted the Manager in preparation and coordination of end of service entitlements on employee exit in accordance with UAE labour law.
L&D and Performance Management
•Reformed our Performance Management and L&D programs. Identified PDPs have become coherently addressed through L&D initiatives such as in-house technical trainings, e-learning activities, and various outsourced trainings locally and internationally.
HRIS
Following an acquisition, supported HR systems integration to adopt the internationally prescribed standards. Responsibilities include set-up, launch, and maintenance of the following HR systems:
oUltiPro – employee database, recruitment system
oPSAV University – learning management system/e-learning platform
oActivPayroll – payroll processing software (through an outsourced payroll partner)
Organisational Development
•Reviewed, updated, wrote numerous HR documents such as job descriptions, interview guides, policies & procedures, employee handbook and HR Manual.
Labour Relations
•Developed efficient labour and visa application procedures and built strong working relationships with external service providers.
Employee Engagement & Retention
•Contributed to the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of annual Employee Satisfaction Survey.
Team Management
•Onboarded, trained, developed the Group HR Assistant.
•Created a RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) Chart clarifying the roles and organising the workflow for the entire HR Department.
