I have energetically and passionately filled many leadership roles at the places that I have worked at, both as an assistant as well as the main lead. I have a strong understanding of business management, financial, and leadership principles. I have the ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies. By using a wide range of technology, I have helped lead a team of instructional designers using technological problem-solving techniques in order to create educational curriculum that met both state and federal standards.
As a curriculum coach working with other educators, I have coached and guided teachers to make sure that they are using best practices in order to meet both state and company standards.
I have used a variety of approaches in order to help motivate teams in order to meet a variety of company goals. Techniques including setting clear goals, giving positive feedback, applauding achievement and helping others development their own skills.
As a multi-office manager for H&R Block, I helped guide and instruct other tax pros to meet their personal goals, which in turn saved time and showed an increase in sales and profits. As a curriculum coach for the Leona Group, I successfully organized seminars, meetings, team-building activities, and collaborations with other companies. This resulted in an increase in using a variety of teaching techniques to meet the needs of our parents and students. I believe these experiences have helped me to develop excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
Wherever I have worked at, I have used my traditional classroom experiences, appropriate technology and date-driven decision making in order to help create a positive working environment inside where coworkers are free to share their thoughts and ideas for improving standards and processes.
