Tactical Quality Supervisor, February 2018 – Current In my current role as Supplier Quality Engineer Supervisor, I lead a large group of engineers that are responsible for sorting, containing, and the disposition of parts that are purchased from outside suppliers. My responsibility is to lead the group as well as provide updates and communication to the factory leadership level for Supplier Quality related issues for three John Deere facilities that may impact daily tractor production. SKD/CKD Quality Lead, October 2016 – February 2018 As a Quality Lead for the Semi-Knockdown and Complete Knockdown group I was responsible for quality related issues on all teardown tractors shipped to Russia and China. I served as the liaison engineer between the source facility and the reassembly facility for communication of issues and processes improvements to ensure a quality end product. I led weekly and monthly QIT and Warranty meetings between the three factories as well as served as an onsite resource for quality improvement projects and issue resolution support. My main focus was project leadership between the Waterloo factory and the Domodedovo, Russia and Tianjin, China facilities. PDP Quality Engineer, February 2013 – October 2016 My role in the Supplier Quality PDP role included leading a group of quality engineers in the Metal Fabrication commodity. I was responsible for meeting and reporting quality goals and metrics in order to meet Distinctive Product Quality initiatives. A large part of my job included interfacing with external and internal suppliers from around the globe on supplier visits as well as metal fabrication and weld audits. My experience has allowed me to gain international exposure to John Deere Mexico, Mannheim, and India. Tactical Quality Engineer/Tactical Quality Engineer NTA, August 2009 - February 2013 Chosen by business unit to be responsible for the containment and rapid resolution of supplier quality issues as they arose to prevent potential impact to the production lines. I continually received increasing responsibility in my daily functions and assignments. I was influential in reducing impact of nonconforming material for multiple assembly lines.

As a wage employee at John Deere I have worked as an assembler and welder on a large number of assembly and weld lines for various tractor platforms. While working as a wage employee I was involved for three years as a CI representative where I was able to help streamline production and increase total output as well as the CNC robotic weld technician.
