Sudhir Nakhwa - Highlights

• As a digital Product Management leader, I drove over $400M of business for Macy’s, successfully led rebuilding of an entire digital business - a project that spanned over 120 people and over four countries and has generated over $97M of growth. My leadership style is very hands-on with a “no job is too small” attitude. I dig deep when required in all stages from concept to strategy to design to development to support and customer service.

• As an entrepreneur, I have led innovation of products that are user focused and have features that make them the market leader. At Worldpages, my product features were the industry first in the online directory search space both in terms of functionality and in mirroring how humans think. At Walmart, I helped build an innovation portal to enable 2 million employees to contribute to innovation. I have also held executive positions at several entrepreneurial ventures and have helped launch companies.

• As a business and a product strategy leader, I have directed entire product lifecycles from ideation to product launch for clients in technology with operating budgets of over $25M. I have implemented product strategy and roadmaps for several companies. At 501Click, I created a multi-year product strategy and roadmap for the company’s core digital platform. At Nielsen Mobile, I created strategy for a new product that resulted in increasing pro-forma revenues by 42%. At Walmart, I led the 3-year strategy and roadmap development for eCommerce deployment in global markets (UK, Mexico, Brazil, India, and South Africa).

• As a partnership builder, I have extensive client, external partners, and customer-facing experience across a wide variety of industries and corporate environments. Additionally, I bring extensive vendor and partner relationship experience, where I have not only determined the right partners but have also maintained and nurtured those relationships and performed negotiations. I have worked with and managed inbound cross-functional (matrix and direct) staff in Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations functions and outbound partners and customers.

• With a keen focus towards customer needs I have not only prioritized features and products but also have created new ones. At Macy’s, I created an effective methodology of prioritization and release planning so that our customers, the merchant community, would be able to better gauge when they would get the features for which they asked. At 501Click, with effective market research I came up with a services marketplace to serve our customers’ needs long before such business models like Amazon Local and Groupon existed.

• As a technology leader, I have built an online search engine, have architected entire web systems, built complex databases, and am conversant about systems from the front end down to bare metal.

• I thrive in team-oriented environments, excel at bridging the gap between technology and business, have successfully managed global teams, and have a passion for creating innovative and intuitive customer-focused products.
