Was contacted by the news director at KMOX radio in St. Louis to write and voice a series of stories dealing with the illegal alien situation in San Antonio and how they were being housed and protected by a well-known catholic priest. Pieces ran during nationally-syndicated program known as “World of Religion”

It was my experience in radio that led to several successful years in television as a news anchor.

Received award from the San Antonio Council on Alcoholism for a series I wrote and produced that focused on the “Road to Nowhere” that all alcoholics find themselves on. Assignments were quite varied, as I covered hard news, live events, political newsmakers/elections and lighter news, as well.
