PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN

Project: LED Street Light with Auto Intensity Control and Traffic Sensor.

Objective: Designed to detect vehicle movement on highways to switch ON only a block of street lights ahead of it (vehicle), and to switch OFF the trailing lights to save energy.

Description: The system contents no. of Infrared Transmitters and Receivers on both side of the one-way road, timer circuits and LED drivers. Whenever any vehicle comes on the road, the receiver doesn’t get transmitter signal, then the timer circuits start to work and LED lights glow for a pre-defined time. When there is no vehicle the lights are remains OFF and another part is light detector circuit, which gives power to the system in night time only. Here we are using a LDR (light dependent resistor) as a light sensor.
