• Field Engineer : SEB Professional North America (Dec 2019 - May 2020) New product introduction (NPI), assembly, installation, technical support, performance monitoring, failure mode and effect analysis and customer escalation management of a complex electromechanical system for automated dispensing and serving of Coffee products in a food service environment. Managed equipment inventory and supplies and documented troubleshooting procedures, electrical wiring diagrams and standard operating procedures. Led technical discussions in the Team for issue tracking and resolution and conducted weekly meetings to meet the communication channels with higher support levels and the key customer. Improved the design and simplified the operation of the equipment via hardware modifications and software troubleshooting.
• Forbes Marshall Pvt Ltd : Project Engineer ( Aug 2016 - Mar 2017 ) Designed the accessories used for Process Industries using AutoCAD and Solidworks according to ISO 9001 Standards. Provided technical support : Product drawings, CAD models, Bill of Materials, Quality Assurance plans and ECOs for Customer Assistance Project. Improved Company revenue by 10 % by managing Customer orders on Oracle ERP suite. • L'Orѐal, Pvt. Ltd : Automation Intern ( May 2015-Apr 2016 ) Improved the Production efficiency of PLC operated shampoo packaging line using Six Sigma DMAIC and Lean Manufacturing methods to reduce the Changeover time by 49 min, thus increasing production by 31,260 bottles per day. Designed a pick and place Manipulator at the end of the Line for automatic palletization to eliminate Level 4 Ergonomic Risk to the human operator. Reduced time delays in the PLC timers by analyzing sequence of operations.
PROJECTS :
1) Design of a Portable Emergency Car Jack : Utilized DFM and DFA methods to design a compact car Jack for low cost and ease of operation. House of quality and Concept design, Product design specification, Configuration and Parametric design, Materials and Manufacturing process selection, Product architecture, Final design review and 3D CAD assembly. 2) Design for Additive Manufacturing of a Closed Impeller using SLS 3D Printing : Improved the strength to weight ratio of an Impeller design for an aircraft fuel pump by using Additive Manufacturing to produce complex features with better surface finish. 3) Kinematic and Dynamic Analysis of a 6 DOF Robotic Manipulator : Performed Forward and Inverse Kinematics, derived Jacobian and Dynamic Equations and Planned the Trajectory and Control for a 6 DOF Manipulator in the given Workspace. 4) Design and Manufacturing Process Layout for an Axial Piston Pump : Selected Materials and Processes, created 2D part drawings and 3D CAD assembly with GD&T callouts, created Manufacturing Traveller for each part and stepwise assembly layout
