Professional engineer with over twenty five years of work experience, on variety of technology based projects in the EPC environment for Upstream & Downstream Offshore and Onshore Oil and Gas Facilities, Oil Refineries, LPG Recovery, C2-C3 recovery involving cryogenic processes, Fertilizer, and Petrochemical technologies with a proven track record as a discipline expert in process technology, with responsibility for managing a large team.

Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Start up and Operation Polyester Staple fibre unit. Completed a Flare Adequacy study for SASOL Lake Charles Chemical Complex facility in Lake Charles, Louisiana, USA. Westlake Chemicals, Plaquemine, LA Caustic Chlorine facility revamp project.

Naphtha based as well as Coke oven Gas based. Natural Gas based Fertilizer Plant, producing Sulphuric Acid, Ammonia and Urea. Coke-oven based Fertilizer plant producing Synthesis Gas, Ammonia. Later the facility was revamped and converted to a Naphtha based Fertilizer Plant. Installed, commissioned and operated Naphtha based Steam reforming process plant.

Worley Parsons acquired Colt Engineering in the year 2005 and is currently known as Worley Parsons. My function as Senior Process Engineer gave me the opportunity to work on a Steam Assisted Gravity Drain (SAGD) project dealing with heavy oil (Bitumen), involving a typical and very intensive process technology. The experience was very rewarding in getting to know a new technology. The experience in Colt Engineering introduced me process engineering based on very harsh ambient sub-zero design condition (Ambient Temperature of - 45 ºC).

Conceptual Design, Bid Engineering, Asset Development planning, FEED, Detail Design Engineering Commissioning of Offshore and Onshore Oil and Gas Processing. Working in Jacobs & Partners Engineering Consultancy L.L.C. provided me the opportunity to get exposed to high ambient temperature process engineering design factors (ambient temperature as high as 50 ºC) basically desert condition.

Worked in this company for 13 years, where I had the opportunity to work in Oil Refineries (which include Sour Water Treatment facility), Upstream and Midstream Oil and Gas Processing, Cross country pipelines and Petrochemicals. Major part of the experience is working in Offshore Oil and Gas Processing Platform Facilities cross country pipeline process design, commissioning and operations.

One of the significant functions in this company was doing Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA), which came into prominence and became a statutory requirement following the Bhopal Gas Tragedy (involving methyl isocyanate) and the Piper Alpha disaster in the North Sea.
