• High Speed DDR Design - Replaced a DDR2 on a 16 layer PCB and updated the data and address lines on the PCB layout. Checked the connections’ crosstalk, clock skew and interference and improved the signal integrity of the new version of the design.

• PCB Stackup - Worked on a 10 layer stackup board for high frequency PCIe application. Routed the traces with good power integrity, signal integrity and low EMI emission of the PCB.

• EEE Testing - Performed the emissions and susceptibility testing of electro-magnetic waves along a wide spectrum of frequencies and wrote test documents affirming the results.

• ASIC Development - Designed and compared the parameters of different adder circuits in HSPICE and Python. The comparison criteria were with respect to the delay and power. Delay measurements were primarily made on the basis of RC and Elmore delay models and the power dissipation was calculated using the component values and activity factor of inputs.

• CPU Design - Designed full MIPS RISC multi cycle pipeline processor in Verilog on ModelSim and implemented the design on the Cyclone V FPGA. Converted RISC instructions to CPU instructions to load, store and do arithmetic and logical operations on the data.
