JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:-

My position has the following responsibilities:

1.Discipline responsible for the following activities within the company:

a)Advise Management of required HSE legislation.

b)Occupational Health and Safety activities.

c)Environmental aspects and impacts activities.

d)Emergency preparedness activities.

e)Quality System verifications.

f)Document Control

g)Advice on QHSE training needs.

2.Maintain procedures accordance with formats established by Department as part of the administrative management of the company:

a)QHSE Instructions, Standards and Presentations.

b)Provide QHSE input and review.

c)QHSE Manual, Standards and Presentations.

d)Document Control Instructions, Procedures and Guidelines.

e)Provide quality and document control input and review procedures established by others. Act as checker for all Level procedures.

3.Establish and maintain a creative and cost efficient QHSE department with the main objective of being in the forefront of regional QHSE standards within company core business.

4.Establish and maintain a coherent verification system including QHSE Records for non-conformances and management reviews.

5.Establish and maintain a coherent compliance measurement system for verifications of equipment adherences to contractual specifications.

6.Supervise Project QHSE performances and provide support for smooth operations. Compile regular management reports with regards to QHSE achievements.

7.Maintain particular attention to the following key engineering performance criteria:

a)QHSE standards in company overall work are applied to an optimal level.

b)Verification process is applied in engineering and operational documentations.

c)Document control is applied in administration including document layouts, preparations and filings.

8.Participate in tender preparations with inputs related to QHSE matters.

9.Participate in Management review meeting and provide input from operational activities, Propose improvements and execute instructions from the Committee related to QHSE matters

10.Conduct all internal and second party audits and facilitate all third party and certification audits.

COMPANY: DUBAI PROPERTY (UAE)

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:-

1.Delivering safety induction trainings, tool box talks.

2.Arrange & organize ‘SAFETY ENHANCEMENT SCHEMES through the implementation of the stop card and awarding of prizes. For employee motivation.

3.Monitor & intervene in all risky activities that require special precautions like confined spaces, works at height, electrical works, hot work,e.t.c

4.Arrange for the inspection & calibration of Company equipment & power tools by third party.

5.Make arrangements for designating & marking assembly points, smoking shelters & displaying safety slogans & banners at the designated locations.

6.Conduct campaigns for the improvement of the project safety culture.

7.Responsible for conducting gas tests in confined spaces (H2S, CO2, CO & 02) & alert the concerned

8.Accidents / Incidents & near miss investigations & reporting, & make recommendations.

9.Presentation of time bound short HSE related courses, Safety Topics & bulletins (Inductions).

10.Development and implementation of project HSE Management System (QHSEMS), specific HSE Procedures for Projects to ensure compliance with ISO9001/2008/ OSHA 18001/2007 and ISO 14001/2004
