Professional Experience

Ø12 years of quality working experience in various fields of Inventory Control, Operational & Audit Work.

ØManaging overall inventory activities including stock consolidation & replenishment, periodical perpetual inventory for high value products, review on aging stock & slow selling styles. Developing inventory analysis reports, analyzing variances & rectification, warehouse stock level, category wise ranking report, conduct stock take for all stores, assisting in the improvement in internal controls related to inventory. Regular monitoring all inventory transactions and system adjustments & training program for all Store Inventory co-coordinators.

Since August 2015 till date working with Landmark Group Co. (Splash Brand) as Inventory Controller (Saudi Arabia – Jeddah & Abha Region handling 42 stores)

Key Responsibility Areas:

Merchandise Allocation:

üAllocating the Stock distribution season wise to all the stores based on the Store Grading, Product grading and Stock Holding Capacity. The remaining stock is kept at warehouse for replenishment. The grading is defined as group/Dept./Class/Sub-class/Brand Level.

üStore grading are done based on past sales and margin value performance into Grade A+ to Grade D (A+ for highest SPD of 100K & above D for the lowest SPD of 20K & below). This grading will determine the store wise quantity booking & initial store allocation.

üSize wise, Store wise break up is based on the past sale performance at a sub class/brand level to ensure correct ratios of the size is distributed to the right stores.

üMonitor Shipments Receiving, Pre-allocation / Intakes to ensure that they are in line with orders and stock requirements to achieve sales plan. Maintain desire level of stock density in store and in warehouse to meet customer demand. Develops / Maintain and update reports, etc. support the need of the business follow up for all work requirements. Maintaining stock data, pricing for all running events and promotions.

üResa controls to ensure that accurate data is maintained in ORPOS system.

üTo ensure Auto request follow the actual sales of the previous day.

üEnsuring availability of stocks at any given point of time

üMerchandise replenishment from warehouse to ensure optimum Stocks in dept.

üTimely consolidation of stocks across the territory as per the concept Norms.

üTo liaise with warehouse manager on stock related queries and requirements.

üStock Checking – Random as well as weekly and monthly total verification.

üProviding relevant, timely and accurate branch information to Concept Manager to achieve & control the inventory norms.

üImplementing the internal shrinkage control policies.

üStores and warehouse visits as per the territory travel schedule.

Stock Replenishment

üManaging store replenishment Sell 1 Get 1 & Min-Max strategies to ensure overall product objectives for inventory and in stocks are met.

üFinding root causes of S1G1 & Min-Max flows if any issues and identify solutions.

üReplenishment plans to ensure that sales are optimized, and stores are without missing any SKU.

üEnsure current season MIN MAX trig the replenishment to all stores.

Inter Store Consolidation

Consolidation is done to optimize the stock to achieve maximum sale thru with lesser mark down.

It is trigger based the warehouse stock holing and the actual trading day to its style.

Consolidation transfers are done from slow performance store to high performance store.

Promotions and Events

üCollate promotion file stock details for promotions updates and maintain database (ORPOS & PDTs) up to date across the region. During SALE or any event regular review the fulfillment plan by product group to ensure option, ratios and depth of stocks are in place, taking corrective and immediate action to manage any shortfall or excess or any changes in promotions.

üPromotions, EOSS Discount, Permanent Price Change & Bundle Offer are uploaded in RMS.

Aging Stock:

üTo analyze aging reports in terms of supplier, brand and category wise.

üTo ensure that desired level of inventory is maintained across each stores.

üStock over 1.5 years are eligible to written off which should be taken off from the warehouse physically in consultation with territory finance head.

üWith approval of National Business Head & Account Head 1.5 year write off stock are adjusted in the system (RMS & SIM).

Stock take: Conduct physical stock take twice in a fiscal calendar across the region, authorized / posting the final results to finance team with proper approvals. Maintain accuracy ‘0’ tolerance in all high value / lock and key products. Stock discrepancies rectifications on day to day basis. Monthly store and consignment damages and its adjustment into system with proper approvals followed with inspection, segregation and repair process.

Perpetual Inventory:

üPerpetual physical stock take is conducted at periodic intervals & results documented.

Analyzing Variances & Rectification:

üIdeally no negative stock admitted appearing in the system. If negative stock appears in the system then it is properly reconciled & reasons ascertained.

üAssisting in the improvement in internal controls related to inventory.

üConduct stock take and stock adjustment in system for all stores twice in a Fiscal Calendar.

üMonitoring inventory transactions.

üDeveloping inventory analysis reports.
