Job Summary
Event Freight Handling/ Airport & Ground Operations
Directing day-to-day activities related to Air/Sea/ Road and site operations activities. Ensure smooth coordination between staffs / Airline / Clearing Agents / Customs departments and ground operations team for the correct delivery of the freight.
Coordinating with Key Client on freight receipt / Airport dispatch / Documents and Vehicle movements to the site and other aspect of timely delivery of the cargo.
On vehicle receipt – Full check needs to be conducted and recorded. On discrepancies/ mishandling of freight full incident report needs to be submitted internally. Claim with required photos needs to be raised with airport handling team following all the regulations of airline and handling agent.
Coordinate with the transport company for smooth and timely delivery of the freight to the client.
Coordinating with authorities like Automotive & Tourism club / RTA / Customs & other departments for correct documentation and required permission for the incoming and outgoing vehicles and cargo.
Conduct site operations / checks whenever required. At all times need to keep company service level to the top standard.
Freight Forwarding/ Logistics / Distribution & Customs Operations
Directing day-to-day activities related to Air / Sea and Road Freight operations ensuring smooth coordination between operations / Customer Service /Warehouse Team.
Directly involved in rate quotation in multi currencies. Create network partners around the globe.
Liaise with airport & handling agent staff and management for smooth cargo operations.

In charge for special freight management for US Army projects in Iraq and Afghanistan. This includes handling and distribution of freight for different camps & Charter operations.
Involve in cargo build up / freight manifest / freight loading / Flight loading and dispatch / Pre-alerts to destination and all Internal reports / shift handover and incidents reports and follow ups.
Established Freight Handling SOP’s for the corrective performance and customer satisfaction.
Third party manpower planning for freight handling / transportation / comply and complete requirements as per the daily workloads including breakdown and build of freight /loading & unloading /and transportation to other emirates airports.
Kept all relevant parties and customers informed on the operational progress through email / phone.
Control / coordinate all destination (camp distribution) deliveries through email /phone. All instructions followed and forwarded for any special freight handling to airline / airports / Third party handlers.
