The company employs approximately 14 highly qualified personnel who provide to their customers services such as infrared thermography, pre/post construction building commissioning and assessments, sub-station and breaker inspections and testing, vibration analysis, airborne ultrasonic analysis, generator testing and maintenance, oil/fluid sample analysis, plus building profile for facility maintenance."
*Personally responsible to attend at various locations to perform non-destructive or evasive infrared and/or ultra-sound testing while company is in full operation. I then provide reports to the customer to advise them how to operate at maximum potential in r elation to equipment reliability and cost savings. Concord, Ontario was founded in 1970 and have since added additional locations in Welland, Ontario, and Buffalo, New York. The unionized
company which employs approximately 500 persons, provides products to the automotive sector, building construction and the oil industry through their distributors.
*Managed a team of 10 unionized skill trade personnel on a 24 hour basis.
*In charge of all maintenance of the manufacturing equipment in four separate departments located within two separate buildings.
Some of the equipment included, but not limited to, mechanical tube mills, structural steel tube mills, slitter, bridge cranes etc.
*Responsible for 2 outside contractors and their 5 full-time employees on a daily basis overseeing the electrical maintenance of equipment, as well as, various projects and upgrades.
*In charge of preventative computerized maintenance system that included P.M.'s, breakdown requests and repairs, as well as all
shutdown schedules.
*Worked with K.P.I's, corrective actions and route cause analysis to maintain an annual 4% downtime total.
*Responsible for maintenance purchasing of parts and contract bidding for various projects and rebuilds.
*Responsible for two separate facilities of over 500,000 square feet to maintain buildings and property.
*On a committee of 6 persons responsible for all health and safety issues and personally ensured all O.S.H.A., W.S.I.B. and union

The company is based in California with manufacturing facilities in Vaughan, Canada and Mississippi with a research and development centre in Berlin, Germany. The company, that employs approximately 250 persons, offers solar silicon and aluminium and silicon- based alloy products. These products are used in various commercial and industrial applications, such as solar photovoltaic cells, automotive suppliers and wastewater treatment facilities."
Calisolar Inc. initially contracted me to oversee the installation and automation of a new production line that produced polysilica with both new and used equipment. After 3 months, I also took on all duties and responsibilities as maintenance manager, which include, but not limited to the following:
*In charge of all prestart reviews, E.S.A. approvals, S.O.P. of all equipment and when two areas of concern appeared, was instrumental in designing, engineering and manufacturing a modification that did not previously exist in the industry
*Recognized that certain safety requirements as per O.S.H.A. standards were lacking, so worked directly with current in-house safety
committee to perform and implement safety audits so that all standards were met.
*Provided continuous improvement for maximum production output such as P.L.C. and hydraulic automation systems.
*Managed a skilled trade crew of 9 union employees on a 24 hour 7 day operation.
*Worked on modifying preventative maintenance system to be more efficient and accurate while prioritizing critical equipment.
*Set up basic predictive maintenance for main electrical systems and induction furnaces.
*Reduced need for outside contractors by better utilizing maintenance staff by means of more efficient scheduling.
*When required, arranged for multiple qualified bids of outside contractors and oversaw each project to completion.

Gamma Foundries Ltd. was a non-faros foundry which produced parts for the plumbing and electrical industries and was later sold and became
known as Victaulic of Canada, a division of the worldwide Victaulic co-operation. Victaulic of Canada manufactured and supplied piping
systems for fire safety, plumbing and gas lines. They are the engineering standard for fire safety systems in the world. The head office and was
located in Pennsylvania with manufacturing plants in Pennsylvania and North Carolina in the U.S.A., Poland, China, Mexico and, of course,
Canada which employed over 400 persons of the overall total of more than 4,000 employees. Victaulic also owns more than 60 warehouses
worldwide."
I was initially hired as a maintenance supervisor while working on the floor performing all day-to-day maintenance repairs utilizing my
industrial electrician license and knowledge. Within a year, I was promoted to the position of maintenance manager and then within 5
years was given the additional position and responsibilities of facility and project manager. Over my 15 year career with Victaulic of
Canada, my duties and responsibilities included all that are previously stated with Calisor Inc., as well as, but not limited to, the following:
*A full member of the 8 person Health and Safety Committee which met once a month to ensure all O.S.H.A. were met and, personally,
was the official liaison for the Ministry of Labour for accidents and the Ministry of Environment for all environmental issues.
*As the facility manager, I had the responsibility of overseeing all areas of the 2 acre property, and three buildings consisting of one
machine shop and warehouse/office, one foundry, and the fab shop, totalling more than 120,000 square feet of manufacturing fa cilities.
*Was involved in three expansions of the foundry including main electrical upgrades and completely implemented the construction of the fab shop while personally obtaining all permits, licenses and approvals with the City of Richmond Hill and Fire Departments.
*Relocated a pre-existing foundry on a separate property into our warehouse while coming in below the projected 3.1 million dollar
budget that I had been allocated, partially due to locating, inspecting, and modifying used equipment within Canada and U.S.A.
*I was instrumental in the committee assigned to dealing with complaints from residential homeowners in relation to odour iss ues and in resolving said complaints personally dealt and complied with the City of Richmond Hill and Ministry of Environment officials by means of purchasing and installing both used and new equipment.
*After successfully completing the new Lean Manufacturing System, did implement the system within all areas of manufacturing.
