Carrier achievements: I have the track record successful completion and handover of two projects from start to end as project QA/QC in-charge including compliance of all project requirement and project/company QA/QC objectives. Personal Profile: Am a dynamic civil engineering professional and proactive QC Engineer with 19 years Gulf experience. I worked across a diverse range of construction sectors including High-rise towers, residential buildings, infrastructure and heavy civil engineering. A highly motivated team player with good organizational and analytical skills and proven track record with the ability to work in fast paced challenging environment and the ability to speak three languages.

Career Responsibility/Key skills:

Preparation of project quality plan complying in line with project specification requirement, ISO 9001 compliance and company standard operative procedure.

Review of material submittal, prequalification of subcontractor prior to submit consultant and review the data as per project requirements.

Review the submittals related steel structures like welding WPS, PQR, welding consumables and NDT testing. Maintaining welding records.

Monitoring day-to-day construction activities at site and given notification to subcontractors/main contractors for NC’s monitor remedial action taken at site and keep up the project requirements and standards are in place and avoid non-conformance from client/consultant.

Review, submission and approval of the method statement as per as compliance standards and specification as well as submission in project schedule and do follow up; obtain approval from consultant/client for main contractor as well as sub-contractor scope of work.

Preparation of ITP for main contractor scope of work and reviewing ITP of sub-contractors work and amend it as per specification requirement.

Issuing the internal NCR’S follow up, closeout of the same with construction team and External NCR closeout in coordination with Consultant.

Monitoring the IR’s submission as per approved ITP, maintaining RFT as per project objectives requirement achieve together coordination with construction and QA/QC team.

Do inspections for the work completed by main contractor/subcontractor do correction if any as per specification/drawings release the hold point together with consultant and provide green signal to proceed.

Coordination with MEP team for MEP clearances to avoid any project delay.

Review the operation and maintenance manual; amend the data as per specification requirement.

Provide training schedule as per project requirement, arrange training to construction/maintenance team coordination with specialist/manufacturer.

Prepare punch list (outstanding)/snag list against with scope of work and contract and handing over the project with required close out dossiers.

Monitor the construction activities at site; do the surveillance inspection at site any deviation or NC’s found issue SOR/NCR to the process owner.

Review method statements, ITP, and monitor WIR raised according to ITP. Ensure each works verified thru inspections and approved record obtained.

Monitoring the welding works at site against approved WPS, reviewing welding personnel’s qualification and quality of welding as per requirement and standards.

Review QC Engineer/Inspector daily report and take action appropriately and follow up with subcontractor/main contractor to close out the issue and amend work as per specification requirement

Controlling non-conforming products and validating internal NCR’s. Ensure close out of external NCR’s.

Identification of the key processes as per contract requirements and sequence with their interaction.

Setting out & monitoring KPI’s for all key processes and report the status.

Managing QA/QC team and responsible for day-to-day QA/QC activities in the projects. Monitoring inspections and its status. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) rejection.

Controlling non-conforming products and validating internal NCR’s. Ensure close out of external NCR’s.

Review of the documents such as subcontractor’s prequalification, material submittals, Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP’s) and checklists.

Schedule the factory visit as per project requirement and do offsite inspection as per ITP and controlled sample. Off-site procured material traceability and QC dossiers complies the specification requirement.

Audit required document ensure procured material compliance against specification. WPS, PQR and NDE records prior to delivery material at site.

Prepare monthly and weekly quality reports with statistics including RCA analysis with IR’s, MIR’s.

Prepare the list of O & M manuals agree the structure of O & M manual with client/engineer add the same as project deliverable to client.

Prepare the required training list for maintenance team of client; arrange the training as per requirements.

V) QA/QC Engineer, M/s. Al GEEMI & Partner Cont. Co. U.A.E. (July 2007 to Sep 2010)

Project Name: Ruwais Housing Complex Expansion Phase III,

Construction of Married Staff Accommodation, Facilities

and Related Infrastructure–Package 1.

Client : ADNOC

Project Value: 450 Million.

Responsibilities:

Monitor the construction activities at site, compliance as per approved method statements and ITP and modify/review method statement as per specification requirement, obtain approval from the consultant.

Material inspection will be done for the delivered material at site as per approved MAR and keep the records. Work inspections to perform for site activities and any defects shall be informed to Project team for rectifications.

Do the internal inspection check the work as per attached checklist and approved drawings, give the comments to operation team/sub-contractor; amend the work as per requirement submit the WIR to consultant inspection.

Participate IR’s with consultant and release the hold point to operation team/sub-contractor as per approved ITP.

Stick with assigned task and complete as per project requirement. Any activities not comply with approved method statements; shop drawing or specification requirement at site Internal NCR shall issue.

Review NCR which is issued by consultant and proposed corrective and preventive action and complete correction at site follow up with engineers for the close out.

Prepare the closeout requirements with QA/QC manager according client/consultants/Project requirements.

IV) Civil engineer M/s. Al Buhaira Contracting Co LLC, Dubai. (Jun 2005 to Jun 2007)

Project Name: (Construction of Gr+1 6 villas in Mirdif @ Project cost 2.5 million; G+4+Gymnausium building in Al Murar @ Project cost 4 million.

Responsibilities:

Submit the inspection requests to consultant for completed work and getting approval for the same.

Coordinate with MEP department for required clearances.

Monitor the store, check incoming materials against material approvals, submit the materials/works inspection requests to consultant, and keep record for WIR’s/MIR’s.

III) Civil Engineer M/s. Al Naqab Gen. Cont. Est., Al Ain (from May 2004 to May 2005)

Project Profile: Gr+1 villa in Al Yahar @ Project cost 1.25 million.

Responsibilities:

Nature of work was construction of (G+1) building. Monitor the construction activities at site are as per action plan and get approval from the consultant engineer for the completed work.

Fix target to the workers. Coordinate with consultant and client; prepare the bill along with the BOQ document.

Prepare the day-to-day action plan of work and achieving progress. Prepare the action plan to the contract and complete it on time.

II) Site Engineer M/s. Building Centre, Cuddalore, India. (Feb 2001 to Feb 2004)

(Construction of Gr+2 commercial complexes; Gr+3 School buildings)

Responsibilities:

Prepare the detailed take-off quantity of required material and manpower and action plan for each activity.

Prepare the sub-contractors and the labour bill. Prepare the client bill along with the project engineer.

Also design G+2 stories with the help of STAADIII and the Auto-CAD along with the project engineer and explain it to client and get approval for the same. Prepare the detail action plan for the project and monitoring of the same.

I) Site Engineer M/s. Sri Ranganathar & Co, Salem, India (Nov 1998 to Jan 2001)

(Construction of 4 lane National Highways NH # 7 @ Salem)

Responsibilities:

M/s. Sri Ranganathar & Co, Approved contractor from Nation Highway Authority of India. I worked as a site engineer; I was reporting to the project engineer as well as the project manager.

Achieve the targeted schedule. Scheduling and controlling the manpower/equipment within the norms and get relevant output from them, optimum and safe utilization of work force.

Assisting to the PE’s to prepare the cost analysis and the assignment as and when given.
