AIL, Bokaro Steel Plant Four Weeks Training on Practical Training- Area(s) from 26.09.2011 to 22.10.2011: Have training at various units like Raw material handling plant (RMHP), Blast Furnace, Steel melting shops ( SMS-I, II), Hot Strip mill (HSM), Hot and cold Rolling Mills, etc. Steel is the main product whereas cement and fertilizer are the byproducts.
Kirloshker Brothers Limited, Kirloshkerwadi Shangli Visited the Plant for two days to Explore Industrial Orientation in May 2016: Pumps and Turbines manufacturing is the main stream work here.
Analysis of Steam-Injection Advance Gas Turbine Cycle Using Pinch Technology (July 2015 - July 2016): Energy available in the turbine exhaust gases is recovered through steam generation and further this steam is being injected to the gas turbine which enhanced the overall performance of the gas turbine cycle, whereas pinch technology helps in maximizing the waste heat recovery and hence minimizes fuel consumption.
