ACADEMIC PROJECT

DEGREE PROJECT: DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF MAT MACHINERY The work investigates the problem of space utilization and maintenance of mat machinery at Bhushan Industries. This work modified and fabricate cutting and cooling system of mat machinery. The variable used for modification of cooling system are temperature, velocity, mass flow rate. Initially gear and pulley arrangement was used for cutting the string .Further it modified by simple cutting mechanism in which stepper motor is used. This overall work results in reduced maintenance, effective utilization of space, minimize wastage of water and reduction in consumption of electricity. DIPLOMA PROJECT: AUTOMATIC TYRE INFLATION SYSTEM FOR RUNNING VEHICLE Drop in tyre pressure by just few psi can result in reduction tyre life, vehicle performance and safety. We have develop an automatic self-inflating tyre system which ensures that tyre are properly inflated at all time. At time of puncture this system make possible to carry vehicle at service station. Our design process successfully implement the use of portable compressor that will supply air to all four tyre via houses and rotary joint fix between wheel spindle and wheel hub at each wheel. Rotary joint effectively allow air to be channelled to the tyre without tangling of pipes.The overall goal of our design project is to develop a product that will decrease tyre wear while improving fuel economy, performance and safety of passenger vehicle
