I am a family nurse practitioner. I had the privilege to practice with multiple providers that allowed me exposure and practice with skills such as suturing, reading X-rays, applying splints, minor joint injections, and performing simple biopsies. Although most of my nursing experience and nurse practitioner experience has been in hematology

/medical oncology, I managed both acute & chronic illnesses within that population. I feel that the variety of clinical experience that I gained as a student along with the experience that I have as a nurse and nurse practitioner have prepared me for success in environments such as urgent care and primary care, as well as hematology/medical oncology.
