Job Synopsis:

Experience in the Central Processing Facilities, Gas Terminal Units, Pipe line & Well Head and Refinery Projects such as Construction, Testing & Commissioning of Field Instruments with Distributed Control Systems (DSC), Safety Instrumented System (SIS), Emergency Shut Down Systems (ESD), Programming Logic Controls (PLC) and SCADA.

Calibration, Installation, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up of all the types of field instruments as per specification (GASCO, SABIC, Saudi Aramco, Sadara, Emirates Global Aluminium, AGIP KCO and OGC).

Review of Process & Instrumentation Diagrams and Preparation of FEED packages.

Reviewing of all contract related technical documents and co-ordinate with client in resolving technical and contractual issues.

Preparing and review ITP’s and Method of Statement as per project specification.

Preparation of purchase specifications / purchase order for all type of field instruments.

Liaise with Client QA/QC for the inspection and approval of the Construction & Commissioning activities as per ITP’s.

Assisting with Engineering review and approving in the instrument design, technical support to the client, contractor and vendors such as preparing the instrumentation master list (I/O list), BOQ materials, Bid, Change Request, P&ID and As-built the changes.

Reviewing detail engineering activities such as;

oPreparation of Input / Output List, Alarm Trip schedule, datasheet for transmitters, valves and Fire & Gas instruments.

oErection of Distributed Control System such as installation of Control Panels, I/O panels, Marshalling panels, Battery banks, Power distribution panels and Building Fire Alarm panels.

Planning and implementing instrument construction activities such as;

oInstallation of ducts and cable trays, impulse/ pneumatic tubing.

oCable laying, glanding and termination as per client specification.

oPreparation of layouts and instrument hook-up drawings.

oInstallation of Field instruments (such as transmitters, valves, pressure & temperature gauges)

oInstallation of analyzer shelters and instrument equipment shelters.

Participating in Mechanical Completion walkdown prior to handed-over to commissioning.

Preparation for ISO auditing.

Material Selection, Material Procurement & choosing Vendor.

Insurance & Critical Spares Maintenance in SAP system.

Working as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) in the both Construction and Commissioning activities.

Performing Factory Acceptance Test, Site Acceptance Test. Prepares simulations, test scenario and test documentation related with F.A.T and S.A.T.

To implement and testing a wide range of I/O in both types such as HART conventional and Foundation field bus communications via Modbus or Profibus with control functions, interlocks, sequences, operator interface and other control components on DCS, PLC and SIS / ESD.

Preparing, reviewing and approving of Instrumentation & Control Procedures, Method of Statements, ITP’s such as Installation, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Start-Up.

Performing loop check, logic check, Cause & Effect check and Control Narrative checks.

Working as an Instrument maintenance engineer from the start-up to warranty period for plant.

Facilitating the Operator by Generation of New graphics that reduce the operator time of work during critical Plant Conditions.

Performing Performance test for the Compressors such as Nitrogen and Air.

Preparation of vendor call –out report and following the problematic activities with vendor at site as per necessity of the project within budget.

Configuring in the flow transmitters such as Vortex, Coriolis, Magnetic field / DCS.

Calibration of the switches such as pressure, temperature, flow and level as per specification.

Main Interface with customer & End User for Technical & Contractual issues.

Approving the contractors PTW and LOTO systems.

Promote Project HSEQ rules in Construction and Commissioning activities.

Ensure availability and arranging of materials during Construction, Commissioning and Start-Up phases.

Job Responsibilities:
