Project1: Component Engineer (HCL Technologies): Mar-2018 to Present

Alternate component finding using FFF analysis, Obsolescence analysis & management, Product data management-BOM scrubbing, ECR, ECO, Component data management, PCN & PDN review.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Coordination with Design Engineers/SME for component selection considering Parametric, availability and Risk factors.

Interacting with clients for requirement gathering, technical documentation and defining operating standards and policies.

Creating Manufacture Part Number, MS Part Number in OnePDM and assigning appropriate Class and attributes.

Suggesting appropriate alternates for components with EOL (<2 years) & Obsolete parts by comparing datasheets and OEM sites. Track component lifecycles. Proactively identify and drive solutions to resolve End-of-life (EOL) and obsolete situations and minimize impacts.

Held the responsibility of handling Lifecycle and Obsolescence management.

Manage component obsolescence, track part life cycles and plan for component EOL, NRND and LTB.

Suggesting equivalent alternate parts for Obsolete and Environmental issue components

with suitable Form, Fit, and Functional matches for Electrical, Electronic and Electro-Mechanical

Components.

Hands on experience in life cycle management, treating critical EOL notices and evaluate their impact.

Project2: Component Engineer (Ascent Staffing Solutions): Feb-2016 to Mar-2018

Identifying & Classification of electronic components. Finding obsolete parts and Replacing with alternate Parts. Part creation. Project3: Component Analyst (Future Electronics): July-2014 to Feb-2016

The CA’s responsibility is to take the excel data from our customers and manipulate to fit into our in-house quoting system, to facilitate the quoting process, and to extract this data from our system after quoting is complete back into the customers file using Excel. The CA will also be required to provide analysis and reporting using in house software and Microsoft office suites.

Project Description: The Embedded web server, which takes Samsung Corporation’s ARM9-S3C2440AL processor as core and its OS is Linux, the system hardware architecture is presented. Then the process of Linux OS being transplanted on ARM is introduced. The realization Boa server and dynamic interaction between browser and embedded system by using CGI are especially analyzed.
