THE Arc of OPPORTUNITY 07/2019 - Present
Chief Financial Officer
Direct responsibility for Finance, Human Resources, IT and Operations for The Arc. The organization has 250 employees, 11 residential homes and on site day programs for individuals with intellectual challenges. Manage $15 million in state contracts with multiple agencies.
Reduced overtime by 30% thru new reporting, HR tracking and improving the use of relief staff at regular rates. Managed medial cost increase to 6% thru new broker and competitive bidding.
Grew residential portfolio by 18% with real estate land purchase and construction build for a new home in Rutland MA and a new home lease in Worcester - adding two new ABI Homes.
Responsibility for all Finance functions, accounting, reporting, A/P, payroll, internal auditing, contracts and grant administration, external audit, board presentations and all analysis.
Co-directed the Covid-19 task force to manage all policies and procedures related to Covid-19.
