The United Nations is the biggest and most important international organizations in the world today which has been operating since 1945. My interest in the United Nations Internship Program rises from the fact that as a student of International Relations and Diplomacy, this internship serves as a start off point to pick up my career in international relations. This internship allows for me to be exposed to the practical functions of the United Nations beyond all that has been learnt in the classroom setting. Many children, youths, men and women have benefited from the United Nations through its agencies and programs such as UNICEF, UNESCO, WFP, and SDGs to mention a few. This internship gives me the opportunity to also be a beneficiary of the United Nations. My interest in this internship my motivation and zeal to put in all my effort into working as an intern not only to promote efficiency but to make sure I get the best out of this internship.
