Accomplished a project focusing on the optimization of classification on indoor wireless localization to find a model that can classify the users’ locations with high accuracy.

Compared the accuracy of 5 different classifier and gain the best result. Put effort into feature-space dimensionality such as introducing new features as nonlinear functions of the given features.

Operated Cross validation to choose parameter values. K-Nearest Neighbor Classifier reaches the lowest error rate of 0.0062.

Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), Macau, China Voice Discrimination Between Men and Women Based on Machine Learning 2019/01–2019/05

Applied Naïve Bayes classifier on the machine learning model to distinguish male and female voices.

Identified intrinsic flaw in using pseudoinverse learning method to classify voices; made decision to use Perceptron learning with gradient descent, achieving an exceedingly low error rate in classification, improve accuracy from 92% to 98%.

Honed software coding abilities in Python and skill for processing large data sets with 24 features and 3 millions records of data.
