KEY RESULT AREAS:

Management of a 1200 beef herd with small feed lot -pen fattening +/- 100 steers produced on farm per month.

Pioneer a crossbreeding of 250 Tuli with Red Dane for a mobile dairy with an objective of supplementing beef income by producing +/-3000 litre on 200day lactation and a calf per annum.

Use Red Dane genetics to come up with 50% and 75% dairy stock that produce 3000 to 5000 litre lactations at low input cost for sale to smallholder dairy projects.

Production of weaners for replacement and feedlot steers.

Management of two dairies with Holstein and Jersey herds separately

Processing and formulation of TMR rations for Tavistock dairy with 500milking Holstein cows and sister dairy- Charmaine with 200 jersey herd.
