I’ve worked at a local McDonald’s when I was 15, a few months after starting I was the first to get a large raise so quickly. I began training to become a crew trainer, and manager. I helped with inventory, cash drawers, and other responsibilities assigned to me. I left McDonald’s when I turned 18 and started at Nissin International.
Nissin International is a warehouse that manufactured Honda Civic door hinges. I started as a “packer”, loading parts into bins and scanning them into the system. Again, after just a few months I was looked at for a promotion. I was then trained for the Team Lead position of the department, I handled shipping documents and was in charge of the small crew in the department.
Skills:
Organization; including making new shipping charts and documents that were easier for the Nissin crew (warehouse) to read and fill out.
Experience with Word, Excel, and other Microsoft logging platforms.
