I am interested in joining your team. I have extensive food handling experience and earned a lot of knowledge in Continental, Asian, Spanish and Chinese Cuisine. I am confident I have the skills and experience necessary to excel in the kitchen at your company. I worked for almost two years as a Demi chef and 4 years as a Line Cook in my home town. As a line cook, I had to be organized and fast. This environment taught me knife skills and how to read a recipe. I learned classic techniques and how to cook with diverse ingredients. I further adapted recipes to work with the ingredients that were on hand. I worked at Emdad Gul Catering for almost two years. I was in charge in Live cooking and developing some menu. Our Executive chef was asking me to relieved all areas/department who had a lack of manpower.
