Duties and Responsibilities Including Pre-Opening Tasks Training:
- Take part on training new staff especially in associating and weaving Harrods London standards and Hamad International Airport policies.
- Calendar daily On the Job Trainings to aid staff development especially in the early weeks of the opening period.
- Assess staff and identify staff developmental needs and address them accordingly through 121 meeting and/or on the spot correction.
- Ensure that all staff follow all restaurant and airport policies and procedures. Customer Service:
- Do table visit to ensure that all customers are happy with the food, service and the overall value of their restaurant experience.
- Handle customer complaints efficiently.
Revenue and Cost Management:
- Setup daily sales budget with reference to approved monthly budget.
- Line up promotional items (to push) to achieve daily budget and increase ATV.
- Communicate with kitchen and bar to identify items to push to minimize wastage and spoilage.
- Develop a stock ordering system to make sure that the restaurant has enough stocks to run through the entire day. Closely communicates with Purchasing and Storeroom Team for stocks availability and incoming purchase.
Office Functions:
- Design 24/7 roster that covers all shifts in the airport operations especially running the busiest hours.
- Planning all vacation leaves for staff to ensure that there is enough manning left for the operations.
- Make a weekly and month end report both in excel and PowerPoint presentation.
