I am working under SICA international for TOTAL Nigeria in AKPO and EGINA project. I have been following and inspecting the New Tree Building for AKPO project at OSS onne Yard.

I am involved in Inspection of All drilling SUBSEA equipment’s and Following QC related work.

Equipment’s: X TREE, LRP, EDP, TGB, ULS, LLS, LSJ, CWJ, CTLF, CHC RT, IDRT, MPRT, IWOCS, EFL, HFL, HPU, IHPU, SCM, LQC, UQC, Pumping Tee etc.

I am working for TOTAL at Onne Nigeria in Cameroon (Onesubsea) AKPO Project and FMC yard EGINA project.

In close liaison with Subsea management and Material and QAQC onne

- Ensure Company and Contractor procedures are in place and fully updated prior to commencing any activity. Ensure Contractor personnel is fully aware of the content / aim / requirement of the activity

- Ensure all tools necessary for the works (thread gauges, pressure test equipment, bucking unit, drift, OD & ID caliper…) are in good working order and calibrated

- Witness / monitor closely inspection & testing activities In Onne (Cameron, FMC, Baker, Schlumberger, Ciscon, Weatherford, OAL, Halliburton) on single items Witness / monitor closely make-up & testing activities on sub-assemblies for a period of time, is smooth and fully documented

- Ensure conditioning for storage / transportation is adequate at the end of the make/up / inspection testing activities

- Ensure all QC documentation is complete prior to allowing dispatching of equipment offshore

- Monitor and supervise Amosco (and next service company)

- Confirm with Superintendent whether returned sub-assemblies require breakout and if so the required process to be followed

- Monitor and follow up all local Fabrications. Ensure company rules and correct QAQC procedures are applied

- Assist in auditing all sub-contractors

- Report any anomaly in the process to the Well inspection leader Ensure corrective measures are proposed and implemented by Contractor

Volume of activity:

- Has experience in Machine SHOP for Conductor Housing/ Drill Pipe/OCTG Inspection/Make Up approve and Witnessing at Contractor Site E.g. Vallourec /OAL/TITAN/REM etc

Rig Return Inspection / SRT / Pre Shipping Inspection / New Xmas Tree Building for TOTAL AKPO/USAN, Reviewing the NDT procedures, RT Film review, Witnessing PMI / MPI / LPI / Coating / Painting / Function Test and pressure Test.

Basic Equipment’s like running tool, Tubing Hangers, Full Bore Jetting Tool, Casing hangers, Seal assemblies, Conductor Housings, TGB/PGB, Xmas Tree, ART/TRT, Pressure Cap, LRP, EDP, CHC, IDRT, MPRT, CTLF, CWF, Pumping Tee, Landing String, THHTT, BTC, THERT, ROV Docking Frame, Dog House, SCM, THRT etc.… these are equipment’s working on regular basis.

Attending Spares Meeting and advising the Management cost effectively the required Spares according to the drilling Schedule. Submitting Daily Weekly report for Function Test / Equipment Status / logistic activities to the Head Office for Drilling team.

The ONESUBSEA (Schlumberger) and FMC (Technip) SUBSEA equipment’s are most I have worked on for last 6 years. (AKPO-OSS-TOTAL / EGINA-FMC-TOTAL)

Have witnessed the Break out and Make up of Couplings/Float Collar / Float Shoe / Casing hangers etc...

2. GBARAN Client-SHELL (From March2006-Oct2009) (Nigeria)

It was a 380 Km Pipeline with Different Diameter starting from 4 inch to 32 Inch Pipeline and Manifold connection.

I was working in SAIPEM Contracting who is the Main EPC contractor for this project. There were two more Contractors for GBARN Plant Expansion they are HYUNDAI and ALCON.

It was the most remote Location in Nigeria which includes Rivers, Forest, and Swamps.

Position – Both TOTAL / SHELL Projects Worked as QA/QC Multidiscipline Supervisor from SAIPEM Contracting Nigeria Limited as Site QA/QC Representative.
