Responsibilities:
Planning the mobilization and demobilization (which includes Site visit and Project Scoping) of laser scanning team members for a laser scanning project for both offshore and onshore facility.
Site Supervision during construction
On a regular basis, I meet with the Project Manager to review progress and to discuss future steps.
Arrange meetings with members of the project (Team members and client)
I maintain crucial project documents which track project progress.
I also give potential issues or risks that could affect the progression of the project and communicate these items with the Project Manager, Team members and work to identify potential solutions.
I also watch the project schedule closely; monitoring deadlines for each project task checking regularly for every deadline as regards each project, and report any potential delays to the Project Manager.
Travel to the facility in a team and work closely with the Production Superintendents and production team.
Mark-up and walk-down of the facility with P&ID for proper understanding of scope of work and problem statement
Understand and contribute to process studies and approaches on the project
Data gathering of the piping, equipment, and structural members of the facility with the aid of 3D laser scanning technologies like Leica Scanners and Z+F Scanners
Carry out the As-Built 3D Modelling of piping and equipment from Laser scan data using AVEVA E3D Software, AUTOCAD
Generate piping isometric drawings and general arrangement drawings
Ensure that piping specifications and standards are observed during modelling
Processing of Laser Data to various file formats (lfd, ptx, e57 etc)
Generation of NetView and TruView models
