Nov 2008 – Mar 2009 AUTOMATIC PNEUMATIC JACK

Our project deals with the lifting of heavy objects like tractors, cars for repairing and overhauling purposes in mechanical and automotive lines. Nov 2010 – Apr 2011 DESIGN OF MEDIUM RANGE JETLINER This is a design project where we designed a 280-seater passenger aircraft that covers a range of 7200 km at a cruise speed of about 872 km/hr by comparing the data and specifications of present aircrafts in this category.

Sep 2011 – Mar 2012 REDUCTION OF DRAG USING WINGLETS IN CESSNA-150 Aircraft In this project, we designed and fabricated the scaled wooden wing model (with and without winglets) of CESSNA-150 wing type and found the percentage reduction in drag by testing the models in the low subsonic speed wind tunnel.

Vijay Jothy Engineering (Voltas limited contract), India Chennai International Airport, Airports Authority of India (AAI) client Utility/Plant Capacity: 9500 TR (Cooling-High Side), 11 KV Power Roles & Responsibilities:

● Lead the Operation & maintenance team of both high side/low side which includes equipment Carrier made Centrifugal water-cooled chillers, York made AIr-cooled chillers, Induced drag Cooling towers, Carrier & Blue star made AHU, TFA, FCU, Cassette unit, Ventilation & exhaust air systems, Motors & pumps, VFD, and LT/HT panel systems.

● Co-operated with the project team for air/water balancing work and performed seasonal chiller tests.

● Prepared the PPM schedules and co-ordinated for its execution to ensure 100% equipment reliability.

● Performing the role of contractor focal point to ensure the smooth running of the facilities by compiling all the activities and liaison with the client for the same.

● Estimating and prognosticating all work activities as per the work orders through CMMS (CAFM) software to achieve the desired KPI for each month interval.

● Conducting various site visits & inspection under TSS team to give the technical solutions for abnormal systems & its conditions with suitable recommendations, if any.

● Overseeing the Central plant operation activities and making sure all equipment is operating under normal conditions with nominal parameters without any end user complaints.
