Kayla is a leading Iranian distribution company active in the retail and logistics industry, with more than 15 branches country-wide and 600+ employees. Recruited by CEO as the ERP & business intelligence project manager to bring actionable insights to the enormous data available within the company, as well as replacing an old and underperforming legacy system.

Successfully implemented my financial accounting system, replacing the legacy system as an interim solution, before implementing ERP (Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012).

Recruited as a software developer to develop a new Hotel Information System (HIS). Working as a free-lancer, analyzed, designed, and implemented an integrated HIS within 3 years followed by testing, documentation, continuous improvements, and support.

Sub-systems included: Front-office, Reservation, Cost-Control, Financial Accounting, WMS, Payroll, Treasury, POS, Fixed Assets. The system is still being used in the hotel.

The most important achievements of HIS implementation:

A remarkable increase in room sales aided by the reservation system. The room occupancy rate increased from 70% to 130%.

Online calculations of Cost of Goods Sold by the Cost-Control system. The system calculates COGS for each sales transaction using Weighted-Average, FIFO, and Last-Purchase price, simultaneously.

Raw-materials purchase forecasts.
