Front office: - I have practiced the check-in, check-out procedures; handling of the walk-in guests, scanty baggage, and guest complaints, through role plays and practical exercises.
Food production: -I have prepared the ingredients as per the standard cuts of vegetables, required pre cooking for the food preparations.
INDUSTRIAL EXPOSURE TRAINING
Completed 16 weeks of Industrial Training at Hotel Crowne Plaza Electronic city, Bangalore. From 16th December 2016 to 12th April 2017.
“One of the world’s fastest growing upscale brand for business & leisure travellers who appreciate style”, and it has a 277 rooms IHG property. Inside the hotel we have 24@43 Coffee Shop and Terminus Bar and we have Alloro restaurants & East restaurants.
Food and Beverage Service:
I worked at the Terminus Bar and at the East restaurant.
At the Alloro Restaurant, I learnt and executed the following duties:
Handling of Coffee Machine.
Placing and picking up the guest orders.
Service of hot & cold beverages.
Assisting in the inventory of the restaurant.
While at the Link Café, I have performed the following tasks:
Setting up of the Bar with all required mise-en-place
Polishing of glassware, silverware and crockery
Preparation of basic cocktails & mock-tails
Picking up of the stores and maintaining stock Other Departments:
I worked at the other core departments, i.e., Housekeeping, Food Production areas of the Hotel as for short durations.
In Housekeeping, I learnt cleaning of guest rooms, vacuuming floors usage of taski chemicals and replace guest amenities in room.
