The project involved the creation of a windows based system that automates the checking of negotiated airline fares entered into the Fare Expert System. It communicates with the Amadeus Selling Platform by using its ActiveX controls to extract the corresponding text stream then parse it using regular expressions. The extracted data is then matched against a Fare sheet file in CSV format. An Excel file is generated to report the discrepancies.
