1. Guided final year B.E. students in their simulation based project titled “Performance enhancement of micro direct methanol fuel cells using nafion”. Simulations were carried out in COMSOL Multiphysics simulation software. This project won sponsorship from Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology, March-2019. 2. Handled and completed B.E. mini project based on Alcohol sensors using MQ-3 gas sensor to detect the alcohol content in person or elsewhere and transmitting the message/data to android smart phone using HC-05 bluetooth module, December-2018 3. M.Tech project on “Simulation and Implementation of Load Dependent Throttle Valve Control System”. The project aims to control the throttle valve of a Petrol engine based on the varying conditions of electrical load. This system will be able to save the fuel during no load condition. This project won 1

st

prize at an event in Jnanasangama

2016 and 3

rd

prize at an event in I2CONECCT 2016, organized by IEEE- 2016 4. Internship was carried out at Tecprosoft Solutions – A unit of Kakunje Software Pvt. Ltd., Mangaluru on the topic “Intelligent Gas Trolley”. The objective of this project was to notify the user when the LPG content in the cylinder goes below certain level. A circuit for this project was designed using Proteus Design Suite and tested in breadboard. This project was able to sound the alarm and display the amount of LPG in cylinder on LCD display- 2015

5. Second year M.Tech mini project “Sigma Delta Converter”. The main objective of this project was to convert analog signals into its digital form. A Matlab/Simulink model of this was designed. The model was able to convert any analog signals like Sine wave, Sawtooth wave, Square wave etc. into its digital form-2015. 6. First year M.Tech mini project “D.C Motor Speed Control using Fuzzy Logic”. The objective of this project was to vary the speed of DC motor using fuzzy logic. The Matlab/Simulink model of this project was implemented. This model was able to vary the speed of DC motor for any given value of input speed-2014. 7. First year M.Tech mini project “I2C Communication between Two Microcontrollers”. The objective of this project was to establish a communication link between two microcontrollers. The microcontrollers used were Arduino UNOs. One was taken as Master and the other was taken as Slave. The Master has command over the Slave. Master commanded the Slave to blink an LED and also to display some characters on LCD display-2014.

8. Final year B.E project “Street Light Monitoring System”. The main aim of the project was to save power and fault detection.
