Description:

Manitoba Telecom Services, formerly Manitoba Telephone System, is the primary telecommunications carrier in the Canadian province of Manitoba and the fourth largest telecommunications provider in Canada with over 5000 employees.

The database has lots of historical data, so data warehousing plays a Major role in enabling various Sources to view data at a lowest level and help them to make decisions to bring more revenue to company with new policies.

Responsibilities

Involved in creating Dashboards using the Cognos workspace & Work space advanced.

Development of Existing Reports in New Package to improve the performance of those reports.

Developed Advanced Reports using functionalities like Cascading-Prompts, Drill-through, and Master-detail Relationship.

Merchandising Group, Inc. provides retail sale of apparels and accessories. It's a Reporting Team working for client Macys and managing various existing Reporting interfaces. Major work is on Reporting application support through Cognos, SSIS and Teradata in admin and integrating with external platforms. Along with this, it involves Control-M integration with Cognos, File Generation and transferring 3rd party Systems.

Responsibilities:

Involved into monetoring the batch jobs.

Monetoring the job and recovering the job incase of any abend.

Analyzed the business impact incase of any job abend or delay and communication.

Validate the report and send confirmation mail to the business.

Monitor Level 2 issues/tickets opened internally or customers in service now for application issues.
